Paul Jackson Pollock (/ˈpɒlək/; January 28, 1912 – August 11, 1956) was an American painter. A major figure in the abstract expressionist movement, Pollock was widely noticed for his "drip technique" of pouring or splashing liquid household paint onto a horizontal surface, enabling him to view and paint his canvases from all angles. It was called all-over painting and action painting, since he covered the entire canvas and used the force of his whole body to paint, often in a frenetic dancing style. This extreme form of abstraction divided critics: some praised the immediacy of the creation, while others derided the random effects. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jackson_Pollock (more)

A decisional balance sheet or decision balance sheet is a tabular method for representing the pros and cons of different choices and for helping someone decide what to do in a certain circumstance (situation). It is often used in working with ambivalence in people who are engaged in behaviors that are harmful to their health (for example, problematic substance use or excessive eating),[1] as part of psychological approaches such as those based on the transtheoretical model of change,[2] and in certain circumstances in motivational interviewing.[3] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Decisional_balance_sheet decision-making thinking tool (more)

A meme stock is a stock that gains popularity among retail investors through social media.[1][2][3] The popularity of meme stocks is generally based on internet memes shared among traders,[4] on platforms such as Reddit's r/wallstreetbets.[5] Investors in such stocks are often young and inexperienced investors.[6] As a result of their popularity, meme stocks often trade at prices that are above their estimated value – as based on fundamental analysis – [7][8] and are known for being extremely speculative and volatile... Interest in meme stocks started in 2020,[4] in what the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has called a "meme stock phenomenon".[12] The stock of American video game retailer GameStop has been one of the most popular meme stocks,[13][14] with mass purchases of the stock leading to a short squeeze on GameStop in early 2021.[5] The stock of entertainment company AMC is also cited as a prominent example. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meme_stock (more)

In computing, a stateless protocol is a communications protocol that treats each request as an independent transaction that is unrelated to any previous request so that the communication consists of independent pairs of request and response. A stateless protocol does not require the server to retain session information or status about each communications partner for the duration of multiple requests. In contrast, a protocol which requires keeping of the internal state on the server is known as a stateful protocol. Examples of stateless protocols include the Internet Protocol (IP) which is the foundation for the Internet, and the HyperText Transfer Protocol (HTTP) which is the foundation of data communication for the World Wide Web. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stateless_protocol
